Postscript:  A father on Roll Call is remembered to his daughter.  In the veteran's own words,
Julio,  My name is Dale Patton.  I am pictured with Micki & Greg Hampson.  Micki is the daughter of
Michael Rymarzuck who was KIA on 30July1968 while on patrol in the DMZ.
I would be honored if you would visit the Korean War Educator.*  Go to the top of the left menu and
click on MEMOIRS.  Scroll down to my story (Ambush of Mortar Hill) and there you can read about the
night that “RIGGS” was killed.  His daughter, Micki, was only two months old when he was killed.
It was wonderful to finally meet her in D.C. and talk about her dad.  I related what a brave and good
soldier her dad was, that he still lives in the memories of those of us that knew him, and were with him
when he was killed--to let her know that he is not "FORGOTTEN”.--Dale Patton, C Co 3/23 Inf, 2nd ID,
1967-1968, DMZ.”
Dale,  It is I who am honored at publishing this memorial, it is the least that I can do.--Julio
Brothers: This, but one of numerous spiritual encounters, is what this brotherhood is all about.
