THE MORNING REPORT
Top of the morning fellow Troopers and Warriors,
Thanks again for tuning in to The Morning Report and for making
blv.dot.org part of your day. We hope you enjoyed your breadfast of shot on
shingles following reveille this morning here at the BLV after a good night's
rest (or of sweet mischief).
This is Old Bill your blv.dot.org Morning Report Clerk bringing you
up-to-date on contributions, photos, or commentaries on The Morning Report.

As we sign off this morning, special greetings are extended to the
DMZ-Imjin Scouts and patrols guarding freedom's frontier on the Z. Your
fellow brothers recognize your dedication to duty especially under today's
weaher conditions. And to all of you out there in the guard towers, on the
Imjin, at the field, in convoy, anywhere in the division area, or cruising the
(aah) village, thank you for logging-on to your website and The Morning
Report.
For those just signing-in on the duty roster or submitting material, stand at
rest. Please bear patiently as your admin clerk, Trooper Martinez, returns to
the orderly room. He has been ordered by the C.O. to review, post, and
report to you immediately upon his return from the PX, chow, or perhaps the
latrine.
Until your next Morning Report, this is Old Bill reminding you to check the
duty roster for possible detail and remember, Semper Paratus and Rock of the
Marne.

WA. D.C. Reunion: We are overwhelmed to be in the receipt of so many more
reunion photos that we have opened a new page titled Photo Collage in the
Photo Album. The viewer will virtually have attended all three-days' activities
once all photo pages are visited. Please note postscripts at the end of each
page.
Trooper Martinez was so busy taking pictures that he did not ask for names.
Please feel free to provide names so that faces will be identified in each picture.
Thanks.
If you haven't already done so, you are invited to please join us in the
observation of respect to our fallen brothers by viewing the American Heroes
page.
COMMENTARY: A few commentaries and update notes have been received
and posted. SP4 Haynes and MAJ Cheeks whose assignments were the 23rd
infantry provided a first hand report on dates of units at the DMZ. SP4
Pechtold has identified a Quonset at the HHC area, and SP4 Kenick comments
on his experience at the Turk Compound. SP4 Chambers reminisces of tuning
in to AFKN and listening to dedications from buddies stateside. Other notes
fromHarry Chambers and Dave Pechtold tell of their experiences at Radio Hill.
Please click on blue names and scroll on opened page to view commentary in red
font.
OUR BROTHERS AT WAR: Our greetings are extended to our brother
warriors being the Marines, the Air Force, the Navy, and the Army at war in
the Middle East--our prayers are with you. Devotional
GUESTBOOK Please open the Home Page and feel free to sign and view the
